My 84 F 150 was pretty straight forward. Auto trans/column shift. Had to take the woodgrain face off the dash, to access the selector :string, that shows what gear it's in. Otherwise, a couple of nuts under the dash holding the column in place, there is a plate on the firewall that I took off, and then everything under the hood.
