I can't comment on that particular clutch kit, but for comparisons sake I can tell you that I just ordered an LUK 07057 kit for my 1984 F150 4x2. It was about the same price on Rock Auto with a 5% discount code I had. However, the LUK kit is 11", and the one in your Amazon listing is 10". I've had good luck with the LUK clutches in other vehicles I have and have had, and it was priced right, so I thought I'd give it a whirl.
You can do whatever you like, but do you want to do it again?? Do they offer support if something is wrong?? will they stand behind the product if you have a problem later on?? with something that is not an easy swap I buy from a reliable source so I know I don't have to worry even if it is more money upfront. So be careful with some of those to good to be true components. Just my 2 cents

That is basically what i am thinking... do not want to have to drop it again.
I have seen this stuff before when a customer wants a price beat. They find a part on some website that has something at half the price I sell it for and it always turns out to be discontinued or old stock! LUK makes a great kit just my suggestion
Thanks, I will check it out. Autozone near me has one they put a lifetime guarantee on and its only $25 more. I definitely want something that is going to last. I am rebuilding this for an everyday drive and don't want the hassle.
Done alot of ford clutches, and I get the various models mixed up. Do you have your flywheel out? Some of the flywheels are drilled for both 10 or 11, or maybe it was 11 and 12 inch clutches. Go with the biggest disk/pressure plate your flywheel supports. Use a LUK kit. Be sure to get flywheel resurfaced. If you have the internal hydraulic slave cylinder, replace that while your in there.

The stock flywheel on my '84 302 has holes for both 10" and 11" clutches. My stock 3spd manual clutch was a 10", but I'm installing an 11" LUK with my 5spd swap.

As everyone else has said, go for a LUK kit, AutoZone is good for small parts,
and filters, but they sell mostly the cheap stuff otherwise
Thanks all, I ended up getting one locally, I went with the 10" and changed flywheel and starter as well. I would have gone with the 11" but no one had it locally. So far so good.

I went with the 10" also when I ordered mine from Car Quest a last year. I have not used it as I am still building the truck.
