Did you check eBay? A lot of times dealers and parts vendors will toss up obsolete parts to get rid of them. You’ll have to search by keyword instead of part number
Spent about 30 minutes talking with Ford Support, they can't seem to find any information about it, and have tossed it back to being 'Parts Manager's responsibility' at your local dealership.
The deal with the part seems to be that they no longer sell that by itself. Supposedly you have to buy the whole fuel rail now according to the man I spoke to.
I checked with pfeifferwholesaleparts.com and they where able to give a list of ford dealers that are showing they have the part in stock. Hopefully one of those will pan out. I am also checking for myself so I can keep a spare on hand.
Iverson ford does not have it. They sold the last one 6 weeks ago. Dealer->Dealer inventory is wrong. Just thought id save everybody time calling them.
I believe that is the pressure sensor not the pressure switch although I could be wrong.
yes, it's the fuel rail pressure sensor. Which is what you said you needed and it matches the part number, so you don't need the sensor, you need the switch?
Good Morning Mike, I didn't catch that the OP said Pressure Sensor but the part number he gave is the pressure switch (BC3Z-9S599-C) and I know there have been others that have had issues with the pressure switch cracking and spraying fuel and that was what I was looking for to keep on hand as well. At any rate thanks for finding the pressure sensor (BC3Z-9F838-A) maybe we will get lucky and that is what he actually meant and he can easily order a new one.
NumberDummy sadly when I called Chris at AutoNation and when Kounty reached out to him he said they have none in stock and they are on national backorder/discontinued.
