The infinite scroll isn't what I hate. It is the fact that Forum Jump doesn't work like it used to.

When I reach the end of the page, I used to click on forum jump and it was set to take me back to the 48- page. Now When you first open the jump, you can highlight this page but it doesn't do anything. But click on another page and it goes there.

So my questions is, what the heck was wrong with the old setup? If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Don't get me wrong, it isn't just this site, it is ALL sites that figure they have to change stuff to be current and relevant. WRONG!!! If your hammer drives the nail in an efficient manner, why invent a new one? Same thing here. It worked. Leave it alone.

Since this constant change attitude is rampant on all sites, I figure it is something they teach in programming. "Change is good."

OK. I turned off the infinite scroll and the forum jump came back. Go figure.

I am happy again that the site is functioning as it did.

Yes, I did the same thing and it is much better. I can't understand why they turned that on automatically. That has to put a big load on their servers. It certainly sped things up on my iPad when I turned it off.
