2003 5.4 with zf6 issues
I am having issues with my truck. Not sure if it is transmission or engine. Truck only has 120000km on it. When in low gears (1,2,3 not low) and accelerating the truck will buck/jerk sometimes subtle sometimes hard almost like dumping the clutch. This happens after gear has been engaged and clutch petal released. And I have put my foot back on the throttle. The shift is smooth. No bucking when i release the clutch. No grinding no hard shifting. If anybody else has run into this problem I would love to hear. Thanks

I doubt the plugs had ever been changed. I bought the truck with 110000 on it. I guess I will change them. I will put it this way. The thing would have a hard time pulling a carrot out of the garden. Pretty much have to start in low or you have to use a lot of clutch. I also have my 35 inch winter tires on right now. But even with the 33s its slow. Planning on going to 4:53 gears sometime this summer. Then further down the line its getting at 12v swap. Thanks for the input!
