I am planning to do something similar to you, except i was going to por-15 the cab first, and then put down some sort of sound deadener. i have also heard that dynamat is primarily used for doors, but that it can be used on floors. I have also heard that there are cheaper (off-brand if you will) materials you can use, but i cant remember their names, although i bet what cadunkle said is one of them.

Ive been reading up on all the different kinds and I think ill be going with undercoating the bottom of cab then use FatMat inside the cab on floor, roof and back wall plus inside of doors. Thanks to all the responses
