Hey guys, a small business I work for has a truck with the basic little black floor mounted "console" between the front seats.
We would like to upgrade this to something a little bigger for increased storage and arm rests.
I have seen the jump seat/console and the full length dash-to-rear console. I understand some brackets and additional parts with most likely be needed for either of these to be installed. Special features and HVAC pass through are not important.
The full console would be preferred as the seat is not necessary, but those units seem to be going for mega bucks on ebay.
How wide can I search for parts? Like what model years, what bodies, etc? Ex, 2008-2016 F250,350,450,550.
Maybe consoles from other models/vehicles that fit with minor modification? Good experiences with aftermarket units?
For reference, the truck is a 2016 F250, crew cab, 4x4, 6.7, low trim but does have keyless entry, power windows, alloy wheels.
You should be able to find a split bunch seat with a fold down center console. Dimension wise, 99 on through should fit thought the bolt holes may be different. For instance, I had to drill two holes for the back to bolts on the middle. But it works. My interior is filthy but I'll grab a picture.
