Missing junction block

My 65 F250 2WD has no junction block near the battery. Instead, it has 3 large wire bundles held together with a bolt and nut. This electrical feat is thoroughly wrapped in electrical tape and looks professionally done.

I searched here and found a thread wherein Bill (NumberDummy) gave the final part number as D3TZ14448A. My truck is far from stock, and will never be shown as such. So I don't know how the original block looked, but was wondering if the one pictured would be adequate. I appreciate your comments in advance.

By the way, the same genius who "fixed" this problem also had the battery partially secured with black plastic wire ties. That ought to hold it! When I say partially secured, I mean that's all that was holding it. And they weren't tight. And I didn't have to cut them off, they snapped when I pulled on them.

This 1st photo shows the 2 that were on my truck when I got it. No reason to doubt that they're original, but can't say for sure. They are both clearly different though.

And after a bit of clean up.

Thanks for the pics. That's close enough to the one I showed.

I think the one near your cab is a circuit breaker. I've heard of 70 amp breakers in these trucks.

Thanks for the pics if the originals. I think I'll go with the one I found even though it doesn't look exactly like the original.

Junction block installed

I found the junction block I wanted on Amazon for $8.25. I installed it today.

Amazon Amazon

The holes line up with the original holes in the inner fender, so that's a plus.
