following as I'm a HUGE Waze user/advocate....for now ill just run it on my phone.
the sync / ford nav map is out of date, has been since the day i bought the truck - and ill be damn if I'm paying 100s of dollars to keep it up to date.
IMO apple maps suck, no realtime updates (reporting of cops/radar traps etc).

After using WAZE, Ford Nav, Google Maps and nothing for the past few days on the way from Denver to FL I have these comments/observations.....
1. I am a hugh fan of WAZE and have been using it for years as an iPhone app when driving a car. OK to use for info when driving/pulling and RV but can't use the auto re-routing because of hight restriction possibilities that WAZE does not take into account.
2. Have tried WAZE app on Ford app screen (via plugging iPhone into radio/nav unit) and find that WAZE hangs. So not going to do that anymore; it is too much of pain in the neck to reset/clear/restart it.
3. I use WAZE on the iPhone unconnected to Ford system except have adjusted WAZE to output sound option to the phone/bluetooth option so the voice prompts come through the Ford system. This way I can listen to XM, radio, or audio via iPhone on the Ford sound system and still get WAZE voice prompts on the Ford sound system.
4. I find that the Ford Nav works well and incorporates the SiriusSM traffic info fine, routing me around problem areas (or at least alerting me via screen colors of roads as to slow downs on the road ahead). Just today WAZE wanted me to stay on I-75 south and endure a traffic delay while the For Nav/Sirius rerouted me automatically. Again, not sure I'll use the re-route when pulling the RV.
5. oh - Apple Maps - big joke with me (an Apple user for over 12 years). I would just as soon not keep on my phones.
