I never thought of that. I will measure the travel left in the shocks. Travel from axle to bumper should be less.

i only know that because they sound and feel different when you bottom out a shock vs the suspension against the bumper.. i dont know about the factory ones since the ones on my truck were shot when i got it and came off shortly after.. but the aftermarket replacements seem to be a bit too long imo even though it was what was recommended by the mfg. For the amount i had to compress them to get them on it just seems like theres not much room left to compress before bottoming out. should probably pull them off sometime and try to compress them further and see. the few times ive gone over some large dips (and i dont mean little pot holes either) its felt like the shocks hit bottom vs the suspension.
