Hey guys, been out of the OBSs for a little while and looking to see what options I have. I bought 97 F250 supercab 2wd. I am making it 4wd and looking to keep the truck as low as I can but I do want a RSK.
I see SKY offers a 2" and 3" but retains the OBS springs

I've never used the frame box kit but I would pay the money. That looks like a great time saver.
It wouldn't be hard to make but not having to would be worth the money.
Have you guys ever seen those stock car spring sliders? My next conversion I think I'm going to use those if the geometry works out. I like the height of my 2wd but need more traction
I see they make them in plastic and those there with the bearings. Seems like Chrysler had been running them back in the day, like 60's or 70's. I don't know how long they would last but I think I'll at least try it....it's only metal
I like the idea of sliders also, but thinking strength will be an issue since they're light weight for car applications. You could fab up an HD version yourself.
Yes the ones they sell I found are all too small for our springs. I would build a heavier set, and the front bracket would be a lot shorter so I would make it to where it would have holes for superduty and jobs springs. I can't believe I'm telling everybody my secrets
