Perhaps I should have asked what “adjustable” drop hitch would handle most normal applications for my F350.

In the lowest setting the clearance to the ground is 9”.

I have a 17 F250. This is the shank I got from Blue OX. Its the 2.5 shank and 9" drop. My WDH head is on the bottom hole and the 31' trailer sits level.
