NEW superchip microtuner
I've read that the new 1715 microtuner has 3 programs. one which allows 87 octane gas. This is a good option while fuel costs are so high. What kind of increase in HP might I expect from this program on my 1999 4.6l F150? Will I be able to correct for tire size, and tune shift points and firmness also?

Yes, we have it.
The 87 octane setting gives minimal, probably not even noticeable gains. Its there to allow you to adjust shift points, firmness, speedometer, etc. while running pretty close to stock power settings. The premium fuel settings are where you'll see the power gains. Superchips hasn't released dyno numbers for the new version yet so we can't say exactly what the maximum (non-towing) setting will give unless we see some charts.

NEW superchip microtuner
All RPMs and throttle positions. Both Superchips and Diablo tune for all RPMs and throttle positions. Others such as Jet only modify the WOT fuel and spark advance talbes. Superchips and Diablo modify the WOT and PTA (part throttle acceleration) tables.
