Should I ask about him about offset? Or brake clearance? He says it's a 'stock trailer' I have know idea what that means.
He is with/in 50 miles of me. Wants $65 a piece. They look ok. Pretty mid-life. I'd probably offer him for $50. Especially w/o knowing exactly how well they'll fit.
Ok. I figured it was like that but I did not know if there were any standards.
With zero offset. How does that compare to my truck's axle? I'd check but it lives a ways away atm.
There is so much to learn. I always took the old rims for granted. Thank you guys for the help. Hope it helps others too. A lot of split rims are going away.
UPDATE ON 2004 DODGE RAM 2500 RIMS adapted to FIT 69 F-250
Here are the pictures of the STOCK 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 Rims with 35x12.5x17 Tires
Using Wheel Adapters 8x6.5 to 8x6.5 1.5 inches thick. Aluminum. They do work, however I would feel better with another 1/4 to 1/2 inch especially if I was going to carry a heavy load which would lower the bed down, these might and probably would rub on the bed. However putting a heavy load on rear wheel adapters is not a good idea unless the adapters are high quality and or made of Steel instead of Aluminum. Really not sure how many #s or tons you can carry with the Wheel Adapters. Since I picked these up used for $20.00 I think I'm going to use them and just keep an eye on 'em. I really don't foresee carrying any heavy loads so we'll see what happens.
