3/16 vs 1/4 return lines

3/16 vs 1/4 return lines
Is there any benefit to having 1/4 inch return lines on a 7.3 idi? R&D has both the factory 3/16 and the 1/4. If it helps at all, I'll get the 1/4 I think it is the same price.

are the olives something that needs replaced periodically? They have never been replaced in this truck as far as I know.
