What are the odds..

Well in 1970 My grandpa went and bought a f250 sport custom brand new off the lot he had it until 1998 and had put 600k miles on it (Very **** on maintenance and records! ) At that point he sold it and has regretted doing so all these years. Well cruising craigslist for f250's I see this red truck i remember as a kid..I show it to my dad and he gets all excited and calls the guy who is 200 miles away to ask questions about the truck..turns out its my grandpas old truck. So now its coming back home after 20 years..best part the other owner kept good records too! Its a 848k mile truck!! Third engine which is a 390. Now the fun begins of restoring that old truck. And here is grandpa in front of his truck after 20yrs...Let the work begin!

Great story and good to see the old truck is still in good shape but, most importantly, it's finally coming back home after all these years.

I've tried to locate the red/white '68 F100 Ranger (with all '70 model Ranger interior/exterior trim) my dad had from the time I was a kid until I was 22, when he sold it in 1988. So far, I've not been able to locate its whereabouts.

These pictures taken in 1988.

2X. The "old trusted friend" like a lost dog. Found his way back home.
