2013 Ford F250 XL non sync, Audio Control Module
I have a 2013 Ford F-250 XL, and the radio has started to work off and on again, I called Ford and they quoted me around $1,300 + tax to fix my radio, Said it sounded like the Audio Control Module was going bad in it. Is there anyway I can pull it out of the truck and get a replacement part or will I have to let Ford replace it? They said it would need to be programmed but I have a scan tool and can do that myself. Any help would be great, Thanks.

Check eBay for a radio.Pull the radio and get the number off it and search eBay. Probably get one for less than $200. You can probably replace it with one that has a CD/DVD player in it if the current radio doe snot have it.
BTW, the ACM is another name for the radio.
You should be able to use something like FORScan to say the ACM info and then load it into the replacement radio.
You could also look at aftermarket radio that has NAV built into it. Check Crutchfield or other aftermarket companies for a plug-n-play replacement and then shop around for the best price.
