Ford pass remote start
What vehicles come with the ford pass smart start app? I loaded the app got the new truck today and when I called ford they said sorry that vehicle isn't equipped. What do you need to order to get it? I got an 18 lariat with ultimate package and a bunch of other options. I thought I only didn't get the moon roof turns out I didn't get the 360 camera or smart start.

All signs point to agreement with h20camper - this feature comes in '19, lariat and above. The order guide has some confusion about whether its a base part of the lariat, or part of the lariat ultimate. My guess is, specifically, this comes along with push-button start, which starts at lariat ultimate... regardless of what the lariat summary page states.

There is only a handful of models that have it this model year. Like you already know the super duty '19 MY gets it. What is missing from our trucks is the wireless modem that is called Sync connect. I'm hoping it is just that one piece of hardware add-on and an update to the Sync 3 system that is in our trucks, but that is yet to be confirmed. I'm sure someone will make post about it in the 3 or 4 months.

NOT HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nothing worse than spending this kind of money for a truck that has all the option to be told by ford sorry it don't have it, but you can use the app to locate a ford dealer and schedule service.
I do like the truck but a few things that SHOULD be on it are wireless charging, 360 camera and the smart start from my phone. I DO NOT need an auto opening tailgate unless it has a close itself function!

I get a kick out of people who spend so much money on a truck and assume that it has this or that. A little research before hand would have been extremly benificial. You found this website to complain after the purchase, next time maybe visit it before the purchase!

Just installed the VSS module for about $200 and sign up for the remote start service. You get the app that you can lock/unlock, start/stop your truck from anywhere in the world. It also sends you texts or emails when your alarm goes off and tells you which sensor was set off.
