I use an older Garmin dezl 560 from back in my trucking days. You can set up an RV profile with it.

I have an android based radio in my truck and use an APP called SYGIC Truck GPS navigation. This allows me to setup avoidances seems to work well.

Garmin 760RV LMT. You can set profile for your specific rig which is handy. If you ever buy a Garmin, make sure it's an LMT, it gets you free lifetime map upgrades.

I use both Google Maps and my RV 770 LMT-S. I program my destination into my GPS in the truck too, just in case I loose cell signal.

Google is great for extra information on the way, and the 770 keeps me away from low bridges. Sometimes the Google maps is quite a bit shorter, and as long as I stay on interstates, I trust it.

I was using google maps through my android phone. It was just OK. Switched to an iphone and like their
maps a little better. In the end I bought a garmin dezl 770.

I used the truck nav all way across the U.S and back, it works fine but we did find that it didn’t always give a verbal notice when coming to a fork or “Y” in the road.
