Hey Guys I have a 95 f250. It knocks loud some times, then not so loud, and sometimes it goes away. When I pulled the injectors I found the o-rings were chewed up. bingo I got a new set of remans injectors from riff raff it.
It still knocks, but the injectors seemed to help. I still have good power. I'm wondering if the valve train can make a knock, or open to other Ideas. Truck is a manual with solid flywheel, with 313,000mi on it
Well Fuel pressure might be the right track. 30psi at an idle and it doesn't take much throttle to put it over 100psi. it blew my hose apart on my gauge.
When its softly ticking it blends in with the motor well, when its loud it's very noticeable. I think my next step is to pull my valve cover and check my rockers.
