Gear Indicator Malfunction
This happened on my 2015 6.2 F350 today, driving slow on a main road and the engine was lugging a bit and I noticed the dash gear indicator said "5". I felt the truck down shift and rev up but the indicator stayed in 5. Gassed it some more and felt one more solid downshift and it went directly to "3" on the dash indicator. I had a sense its happened once or twice before but was never able to actually catch it with my eye on the shift indicator. Has this happened to any of you guys before? Its got 89k miles if that matters

The TC doesn't stay locked in gears 3-6? I thought once it hit those gears it stays locked and only unlocks in the lower gears. Its no turning on the CEL, but will hooking it to a scan tool provide any information?
