Torque Pro showing no difference in EOT/Coolant

Is this of some concern?

I setup torque pro and drove around a bunch. Unfortunately I had to stop to share a screenshot (I really can't text and drive) and by the time I get moving and everything warms up, the oil temp and the coolant are almost the same temperature. I thought they should be 10-15d difference?

When I first start up and idle, they are about 10d difference, but as it warms up that drops to about 5 degrees, and once driving around, they end up about the same.

One other clue - I am constantly throwing a code on insufficient EGR circulation.

Here's the screen shot from torque pro:

Something weird?

What EGR code is it throwing? Telling us the # straight away allows a quicker diagnosis.

My first guess would be a dirty/sticking EGR valve, since you are not deleted.
Pretty easy to remedy if that is the case.

Any chance I am using the wrong PIDs?

PID: 221310
Long Name: Engine Oil Temp
Short Name: EOT
scale factor x1
Equation (((A*250)+B)/100)-40

PID: 0105
Long Name: Coolant Temperature (from TC)
Short Name: Coolant
scale x1
Equation: A-40

Oh boy.

Should I clean it, or just delete it?

If you are in an area that doesn't inspect for it, I'd delete it. When I move to AZ, that is what I plan to do...

I am in an unincorporated area with no emissions testing, and I won't be drving it to any area that does.

One question however - I am using this to pull a trailer full of horses. My exhaust vents on their tail side, as they slant load, with heads towards the driver's side. Still... any risk having this system removed and poisoning them?

They won't get any exhaust in there either way. We bought a Motor Home that exhausts on the dirvers side and were worried about the same thing -- I road around in the trailer with windows open like we pull the horses - not a whiff of diesel fumes even at slow speeds...

Is the $300 sinister EGR delete kit the only one worth getting? I see a bunch more starting at $50.

And if I do this - is there anything else I should (conveniently) do at the same time?

Try searching threads on the delete or start a new thread just about that -- folks with knowledge who can answer you might miss your Q in this thread...

Now it's a 30 degree difference

Should I be concerned if I am seeing as much as 30 degrees difference in the Engine Oil Temperature and the Coolant?

I still question my PIDs or the algorithms.

Here's my screenshot from my test drive after replacing the EGR valve (which did make a huge difference however in performance - it now has power, no more bucking).
