I know this is and old thread but I had the issue with getting coolant temp sensor from parts stores that didn't "work". I tried 5 different sensors & 3 duplicates all getting similar resistance. Didn't want to pay 100$ for the motor craft. ORIELLYS PART NUMBER TS380 (standard brand) works.
