Hello all I have a 1997 F350 diesel that I recently went to open the hood of,and the release hand pulled all the way out. The wire broke. I ordered a new release assembly, but I am just wondering if it is as easy as fishing the new cable throgth. Any input would be much appreciated.

 

It's not that difficult to replace. The worst part for me was the grommet at the firewall. Apply a bit of grease to it and that should be fine.
