Bad Body Mounts?

Bad Body Mounts?
Anyone started having noise from under their truck then discover that its all 8 body mounts gone bad, my buddy in FL has this problem, never even been offroad in 74K, had to have ford house replace all 8 body mounts, sounds like some bad materials used in construction of the body mounts, you don't normally hear of this.
