I bought a 2012 f250 with 6.7 diesel. Came with a PIP Punch IT Performance programmer. Truck was bought from Ford dealer and had been taken back to stock tune. I installed the street tune and everything seemed fine. I went to take back to stock tune and during the process truck had to be moved so i put in neutral to roll. Put back in park and programmer said there was an error so i unplugged. Truck ran but not like it did when it had the street tune. This morning i plugged in to try to reinstall the street tune. Cleared the codes and started process. Gets to the point of writing program and stops and shows contact Tech support. Little did i know that company is out of business.... Now truck wont run at all. Stuck. Can anyone guide me as to what i can do?? Thanks in advance for your help. Martin

may have to get it towed to a dealer to get it reprogrammed
Everything is run by computers and sensors in trucks nowdays.
You scramble the programming and it's like your computer. Reformat and reload the Operating System.
So many after market programming companies have come and been crushed by the EPA. You can't can't on them being around a year or two from now.
So any time you program a truck, You've lost Ford Support and you are gambling on your tuners support.
You can continue to search for somebody who really knows how your programmer works or you can do as suggested above and have it towed in and reflashed.
You could check with sct if that's what you were using. They may have a recovery file. If not dealer reflash is the only option. When tuning you should have a battery charger hooked up so voltage doesn't drop at all, turn everything off, ie stereo, climate, lights, and don't touch anything until it's finished. Don't even roll the window down or open a door. Btw pip tunes are **** anyways, that's why they are no longer around.
The problem is these deleted used trucks are a dime a dozen. You don't know what you're getting at times and whether the original owner is being honest. Good luck, dude. I hope you get it figured out.
