2016 f350 6.7L?

I am looking at a very low mileage 6.7L king ranch, price seems right, currently I have a good running 2006 6.0L thats been good to me, its had all the necessary stuff done to it but I'm feeling its time. Couple of questions, are there any absolute mods that need to be done(still on warranty)? How does the 6.7L compare to the 6.0L, power, mileage, cold starting ect? sorry guys I don't know anything about this motor

You will throw rocks at the old truck after the UPGRADE. There is nothing you need to do to make it work right, your 6.0 days are over.

Not much to do to a 6.7. Remember OEM fuel and oil filters is all.

with the newer trucks the fuel system is sensitive so make sure your fuel supply is good.

This was me back in July of 2015:

..... and post #11 of this thread was me back in December of 2017:

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1521150-reliability-and-synopsis-of-6-7-in-a-nutshell.html

I'll let my posts in both of those threads do all the talking to help you with your decision.

Last September I traded my '07 6.0 F350 on a '17 F250 6.7.

I loved the 6.0. I had it bullet proofed after I bough it. It was a great truck and I had very little trouble with it. It hauled my trailer comfortably and even my wife liked driving it. I was considering a new truck by years end and had been looking some. Then while returning from a trip out west the 6.0 threw some codes and I ended up trading it at the dealer in Omaha. Finished the trip home in the new truck pulling the trailer.

While mine is a '17 I can say that the 6.7 is an amazing engine. Its better in every way than the 6.0. Smoother, quieter, improved transmission, and the power is amazing. You will love it.
