I got a 96 f150 straight 6 300 5speed manual that was running ok but not perfect so I gave it a tune up spark plugs and wires but and in the process of doing that I snapped a vacuum line and I fixed that but now the truck is running worse than before I also changed cap ,rotor and ignition coil thinking that was the problem but it was not i need help to fix it it’s my only way to work and high school

Need more info about when it runs rough and any details like at idle or a certain speed etc. . First you need to run codes to see what is going on. There is info in here and online how to get codes through your check engine light. Do that for sure so we can help you. Sandy

The paper clip method will not work on a 1996 F150/Bronco, they are OBD-II. Requires a code reader.
since things are worse than when you started, i would, in no particular order ...
check for additional vacuum line breaks;
check that you have re-installed the spark plug leads correctly;
check that the distributor cap is seated correctly (what brand of parts did you get, by the way ?).
