SYNC 3 question

Please pardon my ignorance but I keep reading about folks getting their phone to display on their sync screens. Is that possible and if so how do you do it. I could be miss interpreting what I read not use to having so much tech in a vehicle.

I have an Android phone and it does not mimic the phone's screen onto the truck's screen. Certain apps can sort of make it look like that's happening, but it's just that particular app, not the entire phone.

As the other poster mentioned, if you have the 8 inch screen, there are SYNC 3 specific apps in the AppLink catalog that you can download to your phone and they can be controlled by the SYNC 3 touch screen or the steering wheel buttons.
