Amp draw for light bar

I recently bought a 28" tripple row light bar for the truck. According to the ebay flier, its 9000W total. How do I determine an accurate amperage draw so I can fuse it properly?
If I recall correctly amps = watts / volts. so in this case, 9000 / 12 = 75. that cant be right, what am i figuring wrong?

9000/12 = 750A, I would guess it was 9000 Lumen or candle power rather than wattage that you are refering to

Do the included instruction not either give the needed fuse value or was a fused power lead not included with the accessory item?

It would be rather absurd to have to wire in a circuit that can handle 75 amps, that would take a very heavy set of cables, probably in the 2 or 4 gauge category.

A 9000LU 12 volt LED light bar runs on about 100 watts or 8.34 amps.

The wiring set that came with the light bar has a 30 amp fuse. It all looks to be a little heavier than the wiring I normally see in the truck. 14ga wiring is what i think it is.

My concern is that the upfitter switches are rated at 25 amps. I don’t want to cause a problem in the truck.

Keep looking in the instructions. But you could just try it. That is what the factory 25 amp fuse is for. That circuit is designed for 25 amps. Pull too much and the fuse will protect it.
