1991 sunvisor.
i want to remove the mirror in the drivers sunvisor so i can stick a screen for a backup camera.anyone know what holds it in?

The visors are sewn together as the final step of assembly, so you have to cut the stitchings apart in order to get to the mirror. I think it's just a pretty simple plastic or particle board frame.

post a picture and I might know, I've redone mine in the past. But not a 1991.

I recently had the front headliner and the visors redone on a 97. Both visors have mirrors.
An upholstery shop should be able to tell you if you can accomplish what you are trying to do.
