I personally would not lower the rear 2" to level the truck, its suppose to have some take some when you tow or haul. A stacked rear block has been used for YEARS yes sometimes one might pop out but that's because NO ONE ever recheck the unbolt torque. I'd go on PMF website and order a one piece block 2" shorter than the total block height you have now if you really want the truck "level". Also the ubolts are not stock, they have been changed for the added block so the above comment is wrong about that.

I'm not a fan of doubling up blocks. It's cheap and easy to find on sold block. One of my favorite features of the Superduty platform is it uses straight axles front and rear. It makes lifting so much easier!

Personally, if you can afford it, I would by a 6" spring lift kit and switch to 4" or 6" blocks. That would give you a ton of lift and spring lift gives you more flexing if off roading is your thing.

Lastly, don't forget the tires! With the tires you could fit with a lift like that, you could fit some massive tires. They kind work as a lift by themselves. Oh, and on my 97 f350. I bought some 16.5 rims. You can pick up 37" hummer tires cheaper then hell. They don't work as well as true mud tires but, they make great winter tires to save your summer rims if you live in 4 season region.

My apologies, I thought you were looking to go higher. You can easily block the front up to match the back. If you want to tow, the front should sit lower honestly. You can install air helpers to compensate.

Yes clearly those are not stock the new set of u bolts from Pmf is significantly thicker than those. I went with the upgrade in size since my truck gets put to work. I would not recommend blocks in the front just get a good set of springs to lift the front.

If you're happy with the tire size than lower the rear. Decide how much lower you want the rear and subtract that from the rear lift blocks. Buy a single shorter block in the size you decided and new ubolts and you are done. Unless you're going to tow with it in which case you need to put support air bags to bring it back to level under a load.
