Lift

First off i wanna say im new to lifted trucks so sorry if this is a stupid question. I have a 2008 F-350 super duty v10. The truck looks like it has a 6" lift on it but not sure I just got it. I want to level out the front but not sure what I need to do seeing how it's already has a lift on it any ideas?

A bit difficult to tell, but it looks a bit nose-up in the photo.

If so, how much clearance is there at steering lock? Those tires may require the front lift you have.

If I read the picture right, are you looking to add a bit more lift at the back?

Easiest way to level it out is get some taller blocks, or taller springs for the rear. If you go the block route, look for probably a 6-8 inch block for the rear. Springs would be better as they don’t produce as much axle wrap as a taller block would. I’d look for springs for the rear that say they are for a 6 inch lift kit if you decide to go that route. Even if you install the springs and it still sits lower in the rear, you can purchase a 1 or 2 inch block and level it out. However, a set of leaf springs are quite a bit more expensive than blocks. Whatever you do, do not stack blocks in the rear.
Hope this helps 👍

If above 4" in the rear of an F-250, may also need carrier bearing shims. You will know you need them from the vibration in the rear starting out.

Others will chime in on the requirements of going over 6" in the rear. There are numerous potential risks of going over 6" in the rear, but I have no experience with that.

I'll try and take a better picture when I get a chance but the rear is about 2" higher than the front. I want to be able to bring the front up

No offense but I really don't care how you feel about lifted trucks that's your opinion.

If the lift in the back is blocks under the springs (like mine), maybe just get smaller lift blocks and replace the ones there?

OK, so the pic fooled me and the rear is 2" high.

Don't know how much the rear suspension is changed from factory, wondering it the original spacers are still there.

The primary difference between a stock F-250 and F-350 is the rear spacer block. The F-350 has a 4" block, the F-250 has a 2". And you have an F-350.

Your lift kit is likely the same kit for both trucks, so it will be 2" higher in the rear on your truck if the kit keeps the stock block.

So the easiest way to level it would be to swap in F-250 blocks, along with new u-bolts (they are single-use torque-to-yield parts).

I'm assuming this truck is for looks and light loads. The factory rake on these trucks is there so they will ride level with a load. Leveling kits remove the designed-in rake.

1st, determine if there is a lift or not, it might just need front leveling spacers. If it's already lifted 6", going up 2" more in the front could involve new track bar, sway bar links, steering components, brake lines, etc, etc. depending on wether the kit used can accommodate the extra 2". Lowering the rear 2" would be much easier, get the smaller f250 blocks. Might still need to shim the rear axle to gey the pinion angle correct.

Measure those blocks in the back, I'm curious on their size. Also measure from level ground to the rim of the rear fender to get the height.

If there is no leveling kit in the front, measure (on level ground) from the pavement to the bottom of the fender, as recommended for the back, and then you'll know what size leveling kit you need for the front, based on comparing that to the back. 👍

That looks like double blocks in the rear deffinetly not optimal a dumb mencanic reused the u bolts when he decided on his own the blocks were reversed. When the rear was loose soon after I went with PMF blocks made in the USA from flat steel welded together with 3/4 in upgraded bolts.
