Hey new to the site. I've got an 02 crew cab f-150 lifted. It's got a 2.5 inch block in the rear. I'm wanting to get it level with the front. The front is about3 inches higher than the rear. Any good ideas on how I can get it level. I've considered just getting a taller block for the rear but didn't know if I would have to mess with the drive shaft or not.
Anyway if you have any opinions or thoughts please let me know. Thanks
Lift springs are actual full sets of springs that raise the *** up. As far as your issue, I think your front suspension is cranked too far up. It may need to be adjusted down to meet the rear.
Don't wanna sound stupid but it has leaf springs in the back. I assume they make lift springs for leafs?

yes they make leaf springs that lift the rear of the truck that are a bolt in deal...

thats my thoughts to... 2.5" sounds like torsion bars are cranked to there max...
I'm not sure about the torsion bars. The truck was like this when I got it. It doesn't ride rough or anything. I also think that if I lowered the front down the tires would probably scrub.
One thing I forgot to mention...this truck is 2wd. The lift is strictly cosmetic. I have no intentions of it being a mud truck. This is my daily driver that I depend on daily to get me around and back and forth to work and I can't afford for it to get screwed up.
I have noticed also that it still blows smoke out of it even after it warms up. Any ideas???
might have 1 ton springs in the front, i would get some some 1/2 ton springs from the junkyard and put those on. you shouldnt have torsion bars on the truck. maybe sombody did that for a race truck.
first, i would find out why the front sets so high, or the springs in the back have failed and set low... which is it ? Second, the 2 inches of extra blocks should not hurt the drive shaft in the back, but that is WAY TALL... put a jack on the rear bumper and raise it up 2-3 inches till bed is level... look at the drive shaft.. thats what it is going to look like with bocks.
im not 100% sure how the front is lifted. i bought the truck like it sits right now. it doesnt look terrible or ride rough or anything. just got to looking at it the other day on some flat pavement and noticed the front was higher so i got out a tape measure and the front is about 2.5 to 3 inches taller than the back.
id like to get it level and since i dont know how the front is lifted i was thinking it would be easier to lift the back a little bit. plus i like the ride height in the front.
i have been looking at some blocks as well as some lift spring ( add-a-leaf) and shackle kits. i dont really have much to spend either being as they dont pay the firefighters here worth a crap. whats your opinion on the blocks, lift springs and shackle kits?
no blocks.... 5" blocks is actually to the point of getting dangerous... thank about it your putting that much room between your axle and springs allowing it that much more twist (axle wrap) and putting alot of stress on your U-bolts... blocks are a bad idea
