FORscan Question

Hi Gang,
I just ran my first scan with Forscan and have a few questions. My truck is a 2000 F250 auto (production date 8/99) and I'm using a OHPELMcofig adapter with the manual HS-MS switch through a Windows 7 laptop. Everything seems to work correctly but I wasn't asked to go to the MS side of the switch. The only codes pulled up were the EBPS (sensor pipe probably plugged, to be expected with 208000 miles), antilock brake system, power windows (just installed new switches), and a few minor interior items. The program ran a buzz test and all sounded good.
My question is did I miss anything because FORscan didn't ask to see the MS side of things or does this model not have that installed?

I use FORscan with the OBDLink Bluetooth adapter to an old Win 7 laptop. No switches, connects just fine, and I see everything you described. It was an old laptop that I had from work that I didn't know had Bluetooth, the adapter was for use with Torque Pro on my phone. I love it, and recently used it to help with a friend's '97 Mustang.

I bought this one for use on my 2000 F250 and it works just fine. Use a laptop and Windows. It comes with OBwiz program but that will not work on my truck, FORScan does work with this adapter though.

Thanks for the replies. After playing with the program a little more yesterday it looks like it is monitoring everything that I need to know, so far.

The Bluetooth link is the cat's meow. Laptop sits on the desk, I sit in my big ol' comfy desk chair, and the diesel hums away right outside the window in the cold!
