I cannot get my iPhone to connect to the OBDLink MX adapter via Bluetooth. I went ahead and bought the $5 FORScan app this morning, but when searching the iPhone cannot see the OBDLink MX adapter despite both being in pair mode.
Great question. I was looking at FORscan lite last night (for IOS) and wondering which blue tooth OBDII adaptor folks have successfully used. The blue tooth one they list on the app as compatible was close to $100. Maybe that's just how much they are, but that seemed pricey!
No it does not. To use it with the iPhone, you have to purchase a Kiwi3 if you want bluetooth. Please note that the Kiwi3 does not yet work with the Windows version to program with. If you want programming and iPhone you could get the OBDLink Wifi, but I did not want that so I went with the Kiwi3.

It should work with the 327 Wi-Fi version that you can get for about 10 bucks. got mine but haven't tried it yet. Pretty sure Forscan with work on iPhone with the wifi ELM 327. Have not set mine up yet. I am using Forscan with my PC and a USB OBDlink SX. Still learning how to use it but so far it works great.
