17' Bluetooth Call Quality?
Ever since I've had my 17 the bluetooth has been absolute junk. Everybody said it woulds like I'm in a tunnel. It's so bad I've had bluetooth completely off since the second day I bought it. I've had it in the dealership twice (for other things as well) and each time they said it works good for them. I have no idea how! Each time I leave myself voicemails either sitting still, or doing 85mph on the highway the quality does seem 'ok'. I wish I was exaggerating, but unless I'm inches from the rear view mirror nobody can understand a word I'm saying.
I've had it connected to my iPhone X, iPhone 7, and my wife's iPhone 8. They all sound terrible on the other end of the call. It doesn't make a difference if it's on CarPlay or bluetooth.
My father also has a 17' F250 Platinum, and while his has a 'slight' white noise effect, it still sounds good.
Has anyone else had this happen? Having my Apple AirPods in every time I drive is annoying.
