I just bought a set of 20” Factory chrome takeoff wheel/tires for my truck that is on order. While I’m worried about them peeling (they look fine now), I paid $725 for (4)wheels with new tires, which is less then just the tires cost. I have no warranty, but at that price I’m ahead if they last through one set of tires, though I would still be disappointed.
Noticed mine peeling last week... all 4 of them. Manager I deal with was on vacation, will be back today. So looks like I will be stopping in after work. 18” chrome pvds with only 11,500 miles on the clock. Pretty disappointed.
I'm sure Ford will only replace with the ones that came on the truck originally.
Ford has attractive polished wheels that would be a cheaper alternative. Better than replacing my wheels with another chrome plated wheel. Not sure I’d buy another chrome package. It’s still a great looking truck no matter what wheels are on it.

It took me two attempts to have them replaced. First time the dealer denied replacement citing “improper tire installation”. I went back to the dealer that I bought the truck from with pictures after the new tires were installed with no flaking and they approved replacement on all four wheels.
Well guys went into the Dealer and had my Rims replaced with new one's this morning... They look good an hopefully will last. I'm happy with how fast the turnaround was..
Also just got confirmation this morning that Ford approved my rims being replaced. Pretty happy about it. We’ll see how long it takes this next set to start peeling... Lol
