Why would I be able to see cylinder contribution codes with my $5 TorquePro app and $7 ELM module and not with my $350 SCT X4? Is TorquePro giving me a false code or is it actually able to read codes an X4 can’t?
On that topic, if you have a cylinder contribution/balance code, and you notice a rough idle or white smoke exhaust, change that injector before working the truck hard again or you might melt a piston like I did.

Do you mind giving me a rundown on your bad experience? I am doing a leakown test through the IPR hole tomorrow to pinpoint the high pressure oil leak. I just rebuilt all 8 injectors with new solenoids, spool valves and o rings. I also updated the entire HPO system with the newer nylon backup washers, new standpipes, HHC bulletproof nipple cups and a new Powermax turbo with RiffRaff compressor wheel. I only drove it hard yesterday for about 8 miles and 12 miles cruising then got the Cylinder 1 Contribution code.
I was towing 6k lbs and noticed a rough idle when I got off the highway, and white smokey exhaust. I ran codes and saw cyl 7 contribution/balance. That happened to me on a different cyl a year prior and I drove the truck 20+ minutes home and changed the injector and all was fine, but that time I wasn't towing. This time I kept going instead of getting it towed, and within 20 miles I had a torched exhaust valve and a melted piston on #7 cylinder.
Side note, the 6.0 has plenty of power even when running at 7/8ths of its potential!
I tried calling you a few times in reply to your PM but I was still sync'd to a bluetooth speaker upstairs and I had no idea why my phone "wasn't working". Got it fixed now. I'm that annoying 717 area code number that called you like 4 times in a row...
