Be AWARE the BFG All Terrain are not the same tire either. They to have been discontinued and replaced with an IMO inferior product. They are now a softer compound. Between my brother and I we've had 5 sets of the original All terrains . Incredible mileage. My Dad and brother bothe ran a set of the LTX tires also. Good tires too.

I always had the KO version. Are you saying the KO/2 are not as good?

I know I don't like the look of those big side lugs on the KO2 as good as the old tire. Why BFG thought they had to follow the lead of Nitto on that design element is beyond me.

I am, they are a softer compound. According to the fella at the tire counter yrs ago. I was in getting tire service and noticed the "New and Improved" BFG All-Terrain.I asked about it and he wasn't impressed with it. He said he had 6 sets on hand of the old with 2 sets spoken for. He recommended I buy a set and set them aside if I need them anytime soon. I have not ran KO2 myself. They sure don't seem as popular as they once were.....

I agree Brad, I've always found the BFG A/Ts to beoverpriced more than anything else. I am in need of a set of tires for my F150 and I'm looking at the Toyo Open Country AT2 and the Cooper Discoverer AT3.

I ran the old BFG all terrains on my old truck and never had any complaints and I am running the new version on my current truck and they are different. They are softer. They ride softer and are wearing faster than the previous compound. On the plus side they are less prone to slip on wet pavement and I have no complaints in how the handle on or off the road.

They were a tire you could get great wear out of with enough sidewall strength to handle trailering duties. We'd get 80k or better with them. Off road we called them "sit and spins". They were actually ok, off road you just had to spin them to keep them clean.
