flare side rear bumper

The pumper seems to be an original from the factory. Or it was a dealer installed one. The reason I awesome its a factory one is because it uses ford license plate light part numbers and the build sheet says chrome rear step bumper. The reason I brought this up is does anyone know where I can find the bumper ends, the little black covers mine are cracked.

I doubt that is factory but Number Dummy will likely clarify.

Ok I thought that since the build sheet should it came with a chrome rear step bumper I thought that was it. But I the truck is 33 years old and has had a few owners and been repainted on half of it at some point in time so it might not be.

A friend of mine has a Flareside and he is using a Chevy S-10 rear step bumper from LMC and it fits great.

I’ve seen a few trucks with that style bumper, but mostly the 80-83. But never the style that’s on mine which is a late 85 and that strip on top has moss growing in it but the little plastic covers on the side are cracked from time and I backed into a light pole at school and it broke the drivers side more.

monkey-1 did your friend redo the ford letters with paint or stickers?

That *does* look good, and I wouldn't have taken the chance of fitment- thanks for posting the pics!

I like the bumper on my truck it’s big enough to set things on and they won’t fall off. And it hides the tages for the license plate.

The bumpers are available from "AtoZ" automotive, in Texas.... But the steel brackets for the bumper are not.
I think I can make the Bumper-holding brackets.....
Shall I start making some license late brackets???????

After spending all that money on the stickers, I certainly would not want to be pulled over by a cop because they are blocked from view.

Those are decals. He owns a sign shop and made those. He is a member on here and I am sure can make you some if you are interested. PM me and I can get you in touch with him.
