I looked at that bumper yesterday, then looked thru the parts catalog. It's aftermarket, not genuine Ford.

Ford never offered a step bumper for any year Flareside. See post #9 for the 'channel' bumper that Ford offered for Flaresides.

Franklin 2 I’ve never been pulled over in that truck. And there’s a few illegal things on that truck and the fact that I’ve past a cop doing 20 over the speed limit and nothing happened.

monkey-1 no my dad has a sign shop also so I’ll probably have him make them. But as of right now the truck has a multi fuel motor, it runs on gas and oil.

numberdummy could that have been a dealer installed option, because doesn’t each dealer have its own option catalog. And sometimes those options aren’t ford options. At lest that’s what dad told me

Possibly.

Not necessarily, some may, some may not..

It could have been a dealer installed option, but the dealer did not buy it from FoMoCo, since it's an aftermarket bumper.

Anything installed by dealers will not be listed on build sheets, because they would have been installed after the trucks drove off the assembly line.

You bet! I'd buy.

Are you considering the OE Styleside bracket with the corner cut to make it fit, or the original Flareside bracket?

If the latter, I have a beat up original example I can send you to model.

Reamer, I would go for original Flare side plate bracket if you were to make them.

If the brackets are just metal why can’t some of you guys make them? I know most of you guys can use a welder I’ve seen your build threads.

With the light, getting something close to OE is a challenge, See the pics below

Besides, Ron does some great stuff, it's great to see him artfully put his work together, and I like to pitch a few bucks to support guys whose skill far exceed mine.

Ya I know I’ve seen most of the things you’ve made reamer. And I would like a new dash pad mine is cracked in a few different spots.

Yes! I couldn’t remember his name on here since I met him IRL, not on here. Great guy.

I didn't read through this whole thread, but people were having success at the beginning of it.
