Advice Needed Springs/Tires 2001 Ex cursion

2001 EX V10 4x4 Limited .. back in 2011 I made the mistake of bringing my ex to a local truck shop. They kind of messed my truck by putting heavy duty springs on the front which made my truck High in the front and normal in the rear. They said it would eventually settle down but it never did so I ended up having to have a spring shop put another leaf in the back springs plus a block to level things off better further messing it up in my view. Never wanted anything different other than truck being stock but handling better when pulling 28 foot camper no sway etc. NowI have no camper and I need tires all around but Kinda would like to get the truck back to normal . Advice needed is would truck handle better steering wise if brought back down to normal level with new stock springs and The LTR 265/75r16 tires or should I leave the heavy duty spring set up in there and maybe move up to 35 size tires .
i'm not a mechanic at all and I just recently returned to the dealer and found a master tech who I feel very confident in but still not sure what way to go with this . I do have a new gearbox for the steering that the dealer put in a few years ago just wonder if a raised truck gives you less stability/steering control then original stock level.
Thank you

Guessing by the language you used I would say you should probably skip the 35’s and stick with the stock sized tires.

if you think “HD” springs messed up your truck then my guess is you will not like bigger “HD” tire

edit, the vehicle ride height doesn’t have much effect on the stock steering but adding larger tires will.
the larger heavier tires Will require more input at the steering wheel to turn and cause steering components to wear slightly quicker.

just concerned about handeling. My son says the biggerr tires would look better but I'm more worried about how it will steer and drive.
Prob will go with the stock and see about getting the stock springs back
thanks for the reply

steering and handling off road like in your picture can be improved with larger tires, In a very basic way think of it as the rougher the terrain the better the larger tires will handle, the smoother the terrain the worse a large tire will handle/steer.

think of it like this, Bigger tires make a pot hole look smaller

oh ok Thanks I don't go on the beach anymore so the stock tires would be best then for normal highway. If I did go once or twice though not a big deal but 99% highway/around town
