Ignition wiring confusion.

Ignition wiring confusion.
When I pulled my truck out of its hiding spot, I noticed that it was missing the ignition switch. I removed some of the wires today thatbent to absolutely nothing and cleaned up some of the wiring so that the truck did not catch fire. However, now that I have the ignition switch, I have no idea what wires go where. There are 2 black wires, a red wire, and a 2 wires [red and black] that go to the same connected. These all go to small it option type ring terminals. Can someone provide some insight?

From Franklin2:
"I am trying to add up some clues to what engine setup you had. I see a bunch of solenoids on the valve cover in the picture above. I see the relay and the other mysterious empty plugs around and in the engine. And then I see you mention a painless duraspark harness."
The stack of vacuum switches and wires on the drivers side valve cover, are they safe to remove now? How about the relay and extra connector?
