Towing in OD?

So I'm more of as Cummins guy. You can change shift points and firmness by wiring in a potentiometer in to change the signal of the tps....Do you think this is also possible on this tranny since it uses the tow and map sensor to select gear ranges

In theory you could, but in practice it will not work well because the TPS is also used to control the engine.

Ahh yes, it doesn't effect the Cummins engine so I didn' think about that. Might work on the idi trucks
