Hot Turbo

Just picked up a gently used 2015 F350 Dually. 27,000 Miles. About 2.5 mile pull up the hill to the house, slowing from 50mph to 5mph for the last half mile. Pull up to the garage and the rain on the hood is steaming off over the turbo. Things appear to be hot but the gauges don't read hot. This was empty with nothing in tow. Any recommendations or concerns?
No issues at all pulling 11,000# Horse trailer over Donner summit at 70 mph!!! Running Banks intake and tuner.

Turbos get pretty hot. I've seen them glowing red under load.

Hot Turbo

536,000 on the 2000 7.3 and 130,000 on the 2013 6.7. Both F250 Crew-cab 4x4 SRW. Haven't seen it in either of them. Didn't know if lugging it up the hill would push the heat up more than "normal".

Turbochargers run extremely hot, typical exhaust gas temperatures can go over 1,000 degrees. Even when cooling down idling, your EGTs are going to be a few hundred degrees or more. It sounds completely normal to me.

sounds normal. Your average operating temps under normal driving conditions are about 200 degrees give or take for coolant and oil temps. EGT's as said above.
