Getting hot

So I was hauling an empty trailer back from delivering a small tractor the trailer probably weighs about 2k I was doing about 70mph and it was about 85 degrees out with the A/C on it was getting hot so I would back off a little and shut off the A/C was planning on taking my fifth wheel camper this weekend which weighs about 5-6K should I get my truck checked out or just plan on shutting of the A/C and going 55

yep that was me I am now at 1 flat on the ip. I went up to 12psi on my turbo. I went to the 3" down pipe. And I changed my intake so I got a lot more cold air. my egts went down about 100 degrees. It is better but I would be more comfortable with less, because I am looking to buy a big toyhauler. I am still waiting for ats to make the 3" outlet for my turbo but I am not holding my breath.

When my truck starts to get hot I can really hear my clutch fan kick in

I just bought a radiator from Auto Zone and through it in. My temps have yet to go over 195F while running empty. That includes a 1,200 mile trip this past weekend....

Dean-o whats the story on the 3" outpipe do they not stock them? when you went with the 3" downpipe did you notice much of a difference in power? Have you thought about the H20 injection? My truck only has 78K on it so I'm not wanting to change the radiator seeing's how there doesnt seem to be anything wrong with it I think.

Have you looked in it or just guessing about the internal condition? Mine held fluid and seemed to be fine but it was restricting flow due to buildup inside.

What is the story with the H20 injection? I had a 2 1/2" downpipe on there before. When I went to the 3" downpipe there was a big power increase - it made my turbo spool really fast. I love the power that I am making. I had to custom make my downpipe both times. I want ats to make me a 3" outlet housing and downpipe. I have been after them for about 2 months now. They keep telling me another couple weeks away because they are retooling their machines to make them, but they swear up and down that they are still going to make them. I keep bugging them every week so they don't forget about me lol.
