Hi guys I'm new to this site and I'm doing a motor sawp on 2000 EX 7.3 I've takin numerous transmissions out of the superdutys and never seen these. There is a adapter on tail shaft of transmission that the transfer case bolts to. There is a gear in the adapter what is it for? Thank you in advance
Sorry it took a while when I got home it was dark. I talked to a friend and he said it was out put speed sensor. Didn't know anything else about it. I'm taking motor and transmission out of a 2000 f350 7.3 will that adapter bolt to the transmission I want to use? And is there seals or gaskets I should replace?
