Wondering what brand of wiper blade everyone is using? I noticed when I first bought my Ex back in July that the rear blade doesn't effectively clean the window. Thought that the blade was old and needed replacing, but the new one is the same. Is this because of the curvature of the window itself or am I installing blades that don't flex enough? Would love to be able to actually see out of my window and not just a tiny 4in swath. Your advice is greatly appreciated!
Most Ford products with rear wipers have always given me less than optimal rear wiper performance no matter which blades I used... I think the design just isn't great, the wiper arms doesn't make excellent contact with the glass or whatnot.
I came here to ask the same question. A new blade did next to nothing and I was wondering if a new arm would be in order. Going to check out Sure Wipe now
Is that a "beam" type of blade? I tried one on my Ex and I had the same problem you seem to be having. I switched back to the old style blade and it seems to be working fine now. It appears to apply more uniform pressure than the beam blades.

a new arm is about 37.00. its what fixed my issue.

It's been a while since I bought it, but I'm pretty sure it's some type of hybrid. I have beam ones on the front, they seem to work alright if I can keep them from icing up.
I have the beam style up front and don't have a problem with them, either. But on the back, I did and changed back to the original style. It might have something to do with the shape of the glass, but I was getting the exact same effect as you with the beam on the back. It was leaving a big gap in the center that was not clean. Of course, it might be an old, weak spring in the arm, but the old standard style of blade seemed to fix it for me. Just a cheap option to try.
