What are you ultimately trying to do? Last time I looked at it, it seemed like the two metal pieces (chrome) on the sides of the bumper actually come off and the middle is all one piece.
I’m replacing the 2 chrome pieces with black. So I did manage to get them apart. It’s overly complicated and Ford used strange connectors. I may replace some of them with more basic everyday nuts and bolts.
I don’t know much about chrome as far as taking care of it. I sold these to a fellow board member for $50. Hopefully those light scratches are something that can be buffed out.
